Dr Ewa Butkiewicz advises financial institutions on regulatory matters and on services provided by financial clients. She advises on all aspects of the practice of the Polish banking regulator, as well as issues connected with currency markets and money laundering. She participates in preparing terms and conditions for provision of various banking services (including consumer banking) and in the area of regulation of outsourcing and electronic payment instruments. She advises international clients on cash-pooling structures.

She advises on projects involving sales networks.

She developed the firm’s Life Science practice.  She advises clients from this sector on regulatory and commercial issues involving pharmaceuticals, foods, dietary supplements, medical devices and cosmetics.

She drafts and advises on contracts for conducting clinical trials and advises on issues of liability for clinical trials. She advises on matters involving legal protection of innovative medicines. She represents clients from the pharmaceutical and food sector in administrative and civil disputes, including patent disputes.

She joined Wardyński & Partners as counsel in 2003, and was a partner in 2004–2014.
