Wardyński & Partners advised LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (NYSE: LYB) on the acquisition of the Mepol Group, i.e. the Italian companies Mepol S.r.l. and Polar S.r.l. and the Polish company Industrial Technology Investments Poland sp. z o.o.
The transaction closed on 3 July 2023. Wardyński & Partners advised on Polish aspects of the transaction, including evaluating the transaction structure, conducting legal due diligence on the Polish company and preparing the notification to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
