Anna Olejniczak-Michalska

Anna Olejniczak-Michalska advises clients on issues of cross-border trade, particularly export controls and international economic sanctions. In the area of sanctions, she provides comprehensive regulatory and transactional advice. She represents clients in disputes arising from the application of sanctions regimes and in proceedings before regulators (removal from sanctions lists, release of frozen assets, lifting temporary involuntary receivership).
She advises and represents clients in disputes involving contract performance, governing law, jurisdiction, and international enforcement of judgments, and in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights. She conducts risk analysis for human rights compliance, legal audits, and internal investigations.
She joined Wardyński & Partners in 2020.

In 2006–2007 she was affiliated with White & Case and its corporate practice. In 2007–2012 she worked at the European Court of Human Rights, drafting rulings in applications against Poland. In recent years she worked at the Ministry of Justice as chief specialist in the Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights.
