The Province Administrative Court in Warsaw held in December 2023 that under current law, a non-commercial entity cannot operate a veterinary clinic for non-profit purposes. After three years of litigation, the Supreme Administrative Court has now upheld the cassation appeal by the Vet-Alert Foundation for Protection of Animals and the Ombudsman and overturned the challenged judgment, remanding the case for reconsideration.

We advised OpenAI on Polish aspects of the acquisition of Neptune Labs and its Polish subsidiary. During the transaction, we cooperated closely with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a lead legal advisor to OpenAI.

We advised CNC Holding BV, backed by Sun European Partners, LLP, on the acquisition of a mushroom substrate production facility from Kompostpal sp. z o.o. The transaction enlarges the portfolio and production capacity of CNC Holding BV in Poland.

We assisted selected shareholders of Rapiomed Group sp. z o.o. in the sale of a minority stake in the company to an experienced industry investor from the e-commerce market.
