We supported Centrum Rozliczeń Elektronicznych Polskie ePłatności S.A. and Polskie ePłatności sp. z o.o. in their corporate reorganisation involving spin-off of a group of assets for acquisition by Polskie ePłatności sp. z o.o. The acquisition involved CRE PeP’s full customer portfolio and all of the company’s processes, enabling the burden of activity to be shifted from CRE PeP, a process company, to Polskie ePłatności sp. z o.o., a national payment institution.

Wardyński & Partners advised the CANPACK Group in a transaction involving the sale by CP Glass S.A. (part of the CANPACK Group) to BA Glass of its glass operations in Orzesze, Poland.

We advised ING Bank Śląski S.A. in its financing of the acquisition of MPPK Group sp. z o.o. by the private equity fund Avallon MBO. MPPK Group is a rapidly growing producer of pet food, known for such brands as Wiejska Zagroda, Country of Animals, Pan Mięsko and Mr. Meaty.

By blocking the social media accounts and groups of the Civil Society Drug Policy Initiative (SIN) without warning, explanation, or a real opportunity to appeal from those decisions, Meta infringed the organisation’s personal interests. The court ordered Meta to restore the blocked content and apologise publicly to SIN for unjustly taking down SIN’s accounts and groups on Facebook and Instagram.

On 12 March 2024 the Warsaw Regional Court issued a judgment in favour of our client from the debt-collection industry Best SA denying a claim against the client for PLN 60.7 million in compensation for Kredyt Inkaso’s alleged loss of contracts for management of portfolios of receivables.
