Regulatory advice for banks and other financial institutions; M&A transactions on the financial and capital markets

Dr Wojciech Kobyliński specialises in banking and finance, particularly the regulation of financial services, as well as ESG and sustainability issues in the operation of financial institutions.

Over the course of his professional career he has advised on a number of M&A transactions involving banks and other financial institutions in Poland and internationally. He has participated in establishment and passporting of banks, credit institutions, investment firms, and investment funds.

He also provides legal support for capital market transactions (debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and derivatives).

Faculty of Law, University of Białystok (2010). During his law studies, he completed the Summer School of American Law at Michigan State University College of Law (2010) and held a scholarship at the Faculty of Law, Business and Economics at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (2009).

He earned a doctorate at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2022) with a thesis titled “The post-crisis legal model of banking supervision in the European Union.”
