ClientEarth Foundation is suing the State Treasury for failing to tackle smog effectively. More than five years after the 2018 EU Court of Justice ruling against Poland on air quality, the actions of successive governments have been too slow and Poland’s failure to meet air quality standards is still among the most severe in the European Union.

The financing transaction by our client Berenberg Infrastructure and Energy Team for solar projects in Poland developed by GoldenPeaks Capital, on which we advised, has been recognised as the 'Innovative Financial Structure Deal of the Year' at inspiratia’s Europe Energy Transition Awards 2024.

Wardynski & Partners advised Modern Times Group, the NASDAQ-listed mobile gaming group on its acquisition of Plarium Global Ltd (Plarium). We advised on the Polish aspects of the transaction as part of an international legal team coordinated by Baker Botts LLP.

In September 2024 a settlement was reached in a case involving one of the firm’s clients under a professional indemnity policy. The dispute, worth over PLN 20 million, arose between parties responsible for a construction design defect and their insurers.
