EU law and state aid

Dr Anna Kulińska advises on state aid, including seeking EU funds and aid granted by EFTA member states. She assists clients in raising financial support from Polish and foreign sources, including EU funds, Norwegian funds, government grants, and tax exemptions and incentives.

In M&A projects, she examines whether the conditions for receipt of state aid have been met and maintained.

She advises clients on whether their organisational and legal solutions meet the conditions for state aid.

She takes part in notification proceedings before the European Commission and complaint proceedings before the Commission challenging aid alleged to be awarded unlawfully or used improperly.

She supports clients in matters involving repayment of financing and in negotiations with public authorities on state aid issues.

She drafts legal opinions on state aid issues.

She coordinates the work of the firm’s interdisciplinary state aid team.

She has many years of experience working with EU institutions and agencies. She held an internship at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, and has also been professionally involved in the EU’s legislative process.
