Igor Hanas
adwokat, partnerIgor Hanas co-leads the Energy practice. He advises clients from the power sector, both renewable and thermal generation, and the chemical industry, in regulatory and development matters, from negotiations to cross-border technology transfers, performance and handover of projects, and disputes with investors, including state-controlled entities.
His experience includes advising corporate clients and independent producers on generation, trade and sale of electricity, biogas, trading in green certificates and guarantees of origin, self-generation, cogeneration, and distribution of heat and power.
He provides ongoing advice to clients on licensing procedures for generation, sale, trading and distribution of electricity, liquid fuels and hydrocarbons. He also advises and represents clients in disputes before the Minister of Climate, the Minister of the Environment, and the Energy Regulatory Office.
He assists clients in matters involving PPAs (power purchase agreements), corporate PPAs, and registration and trade in chemicals.
He regularly lectures on energy law for the course of study on renewable energy technologies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
