The law firm grows: New partners

We have six new partners. Joanna Krakowiak, Jakub Macek, Wojciech Marszałkowski, Adam Pawlisz, Łukasz Śliwiński and Maciej Zych have joined the ranks of the contract partners.

Joanna Krakowiak coordinates the work of the Life Sciences & Healthcare practice. She advises clients from regulated industries, particularly pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and foods, in regulatory matters and comprehensive implementation of projects in Poland. She has significant experience in regulatory aspects of M&A, including healthcare regulations. She is a member of the council of the European Food Law Association.

Jakub Macek advises on Polish and international tax law. He provides legal support for transactions in shares, enterprises, organised parts of enterprises, and real estate. He also advises on tax-efficient structures for financing business activity. He advises clients in disputes with the tax authorities and represents clients before the administrative courts.

Wojciech Marszałkowski handles tax disputes, fiscal criminal matters, and international tax law. He advises on personal income tax and corporate income tax, including the consequences of changes in tax residency, tax planning, and transfer pricing.

Adam Pawlisz has many years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (share deals and asset deals), joint-venture projects, and others forms of restructuring and financing of enterprises. He has led a number of complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, for buyers and sellers, advising private equity, industry investors and private businesses. He has particular experience advising numerous Scandinavian, American, British and German investors.

Łukasz Śliwiński practises corporate law and has extensive experience in the establishment and day-to-day legal affairs of companies. He takes part in transactions involving purchase and sale of shares, corporate restructuring, and liquidation. He participates in all forms of M&A transactions and conducts due diligence reviews.

Maciej Zych advises and represents clients in various commercial disputes before state courts and arbitration courts. He is particularly involved in complex litigation related to real estate construction projects, e.g. concerning design defects, disputes in the infrastructure and transport sectors, and post-transaction disputes. He advises clients from the aviation sector on transactional, regulatory and dispute resolution issues.
