The law firm grows

There are four new general partners. Adam Pawlisz, Daniel Smarduch, Krzysztof Wojdyło and Marcin Wujczyk have joined the group of general partners at Wardyński & Partners.

Adam Pawlisz has many years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (share deals and asset deals), joint-venture projects, and others forms of restructuring and financing of enterprises. He has led a number of complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, for buyers and sellers, advising private equity, industry investors and private businesses. He has particular experience advising numerous Scandinavian, American, British and German investors. He has managed numerous M&A projects (including due diligence and negotiations) involving companies from various fields of the economy.

Daniel Smarduch advises clients on claims trading and management and project finance, including financing of corporate acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and development projects, as well as refinancing of debt. He has participated in major projects for securitisation of secured and unsecured claims. He regularly advises clients on transactions involving individual claims and debt portfolios, including non-performing loans. He has practical experience advising lenders, arrangers, servicers and investors. He also advises on cash-pooling and factoring transactions, and has litigation experience in disputes involving financial institutions.

Krzysztof Wojdyło heads the New Technologies practice. He handles matters involving blockchain, smart contracts, FinTech, commercialisation of new technologies, telecommunications, robotics, and anti money laundering. He takes part in major projects relating to new technologies law and regularly advises startups as well as large companies from the new technologies sector.

Dr hab. Marcin Wujczyk co-heads the Employment practice (together with dr Szymon Kubiak and Magdalena Świtajska). He practises individual and collective employment law, with a particular emphasis on employees’ right to privacy and employers’ cooperation with trade unions and employee representatives. He advises some of Poland’s largest companies on group redundancies, transfer of enterprises, and anti-mobbing and anti-discrimination proceedings.
