Rafał Pytko

Rafał Pytko advises on electricity and heat generation and trading, self-generation, cogeneration, and distribution of electricity and heat, as well as on support schemes in the energy sector. He assists with the drafting of PPAs, cPPAs and vPPAs, and with negotiations concerning structures in energy project financing. He advises clients on regulatory issues in M&A transactions in the energy sector.

He represents clients in dispute proceedings and in obtaining licences from the Energy Regulatory Office. He advises clients on regulatory aspects of entering the electricity and natural gas markets in Poland as well as with obtaining membership of the Polish Power Exchange.

He lectures on energy law at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Among other experience, he previously worked at the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology, where he was involved in implementation of EU law in the field of green economy.
