Wardyński & Partners advised the Bucher Group on its acquisition of 100% of the shares in B&P Engineering sp. z o.o. This is the latest complex and demanding M&A project in which we have been the lead adviser.
As a result of the transaction, Bucher Unipektin, a leading manufacturer of systems and components for the juice and beer industry as well as drying technologies, has reinforced its market position as a leading supplier of fruit juice processing systems and technologies.
B&P Engineering specialises in the manufacture and supply of juice and concentrate production equipment and stainless steel tanks. The company employs around 450 people. It is headquartered in Przeworsk, where its plant uses impressive, state-of-the-art production solutions.
Legal advice on the project was led by Izabela Zielińska-Barłożek, with the support of Katarzyna Wójcik-Bąkowska. The project was coordinated by Kacper Czubacki and Bartosz Lewandowski with the support of Marika Grzybowska and Oliwia Kruczyńska. The team also included Stefan Feliniak (financial issues), Monika A. Górska (IP), Joanna Prokurat (state aid and tax), Paweł Szumowski (corporate), Antoni Bolecki and Weronika Nalbert (competition), and Joanna Dudek (employment).
