Webinar: Changes in the rules for work legalisation and stay of foreign citizens - what awaits employers?

Please join us for a webinar on immigration law on 20 November, from 9:30 -11:30.

The programme includes:

  • The migration strategy for Poland 2025-2030 - including the main assumptions and controversies, what elements of the strategy will definitely be adopted and what will the strategy certainly not change?
  • Planned changes in the regulations on work permits and statements of entrustment - are we in for a revolution in legalising the work of foreign citizens? Will proceedings be fully digitalised? Will students still be able to work without an additional document legalising work? Or will employers be able to employ foreign citizens only on the basis of an employment contract?
  • Changes regarding the EU Blue Card. Will it be easier to obtain an EU Blue Card and will it also cover seasonal workers? Will this be a pass to starting a business in Poland? What happens on the loss of employment that is the basis for its issuance?
  • Changes in visa procedures. Whose applications will be prioritised?
  • ETIAS and EES - what are the proposed changes regarding the unification of travel permits and the entry and exit system for all EU countries? How will employers be able to verify employees’ legal stay without a border control stamp being placed in a foreign citizen’s passport?
