We advised in a transaction on the smart digital surgery market in which our client Surgalign Holdings Inc. acquired shares in Inteneural Networks Inc. for USD 79 million.
Inteneural Networks Inc. develops technology using artificial intelligence for neurology and neurosurgery. The company was founded by experienced scientists and high-tech investors: Prof. Paul Lewicki (a pioneer in exploring data and big data learning) and Dr Kris Siemionow (a surgeon specialising in technologically advanced databases of medical images and software supporting surgery).
Surgalign Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SRGA) is a leader in smart digital surgery. It operates in the United States and over 50 other countries around the world via a network of independent distributors.
We advised on Polish aspects of the transaction and conducted legal due diligence of the Polish company in cooperation with Sidley Austin LLP.
