World Bank report “Enabling the Business of Agriculture 2017”

The report “Enabling the Business of Agriculture 2017” is now available on the website of the World Bank. The report was prepared on the basis of detailed expert studies by lawyers from 62 countries. Lawyers from Wardyński & Partners were involved in drafting the section on Poland.

This year’s report, the third in the series “Enabling the Business of Agriculture,” shows how legal regulations influence the agriculture sector, including producer organisations and other entities operating in the sector.

From Wardyński & Partners, Izabela Zielińska-Barłożek, Martyna Robakowska and Dominik Wałkowski were involved in drafting the section on Poland. Their contribution involved the current, pressing issue of access to water resources. Their analysis examined issues of water management, the process of obtaining permits for water use, and the functioning of water companies.

The report can be downloaded from the World Bank website.
