Winners selected in 5th edition of MIT Enterprise Forum Poland
17.01.2019
The finalists for this year’s edition of the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland include the creators of a system for recovering energy from engine braking in municipal buses, and a technology for automating the identification of microorganisms in cosmetics. The five winning startups will take part in a week-long boot camp in Boston. Our firm is a knowledge partner for the forum.
Below are the winning startups and their technologies:
- Bioavlee—automation technology for identification of microorganisms, in the cosmetics industry and other applications. With its proprietary patents, the company redefines the method of identifying microorganisms and makes work in laboratories more accurate, faster, cheaper and simpler.
- EBnavi—an integrated SaaS tool for measuring, developing and managing an employer’s brand. The scientifically developed algorithm reduces time and costs of preparing the employer’s branding strategy and helps obtain a competitive advantage in this area.
- Saps Enterprise is a patented, 100% safe and eco-friendly system protecting fibre optics and other cables from being gnawed by animals.
- Smabbler—artificial general intelligence with cognitive/linguistic abilities for advanced automation processes with text data. The system learns fast without intensive training or large sets of data, works with the most complex tasks, and achieves higher accuracy than existing language technologies.
- VERS Produkcja—an advanced recuperation system enabling energy recovery from engine braking in city buses. The operating principle is based on the use of alternators to produce electricity, which is then used to power electrical devices onboard the vehicle.
Wardyński & Partners has served as a knowledge partner for MIT Enterprise Forum Poland since the programme’s inception.
Our congratulations and best wishes for future success to all the laureates.
