Monika A. Górska, PhD, will be a speaker at an event organized jointly by the Gdansk University Centre for Intellectual Property Law and Chicago – Kent College School of Law.

Over four intense days of lectures and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations by best specialists from Gdansk University, Chicago – Kent College School of Law, Queen Mary University of London, ZAIKS Authors’ Association and many others.

The topics discussed will touch upon copyright law, patent law, trademark law, legal issues related to the world of fashion, film and music, as well as the interplay between IP law and cultural heritage. The programme of the four-day event is designed to explore the challenges of interactions between IP law and business.

The organisers are hoping to create at the event in Gdansk, together with the presenters and participants, an atmosphere that will help to integrate the international IP community – lawyers, business people, academics and students.

Dr. Monika A. Górska will present a lecture entitled “The Blockchain Technology and the Challenges to IP Law”.
