Symposium on the Polish constitutional crisis, Oxford, 9 May 2017

Wardyński & Partners supports the symposium “The Polish constitutional crisis and institutional self-defence,” organised by the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford.

The main purpose of the symposium will be to reflect from a theoretical perspective on the controversial events around the Polish Constitutional Tribunal since mid-2015.

The panellists will be professors Adam Czarnota (University of New South Wales), Tomasz Gizbert-Studnicki (Jagiellonian University) and Marcin Matczak (University of Warsaw), and Constitutional Tribunal Judge Lech Morawski. The commentators will be Oxford professors Nick Barber, Richard Ekins, Aileen Kavanagh and Alison Young.

The organisers plan to publish transcripts of the speeches online, together with a video of the event.
