Seminar: EUSFTA: A Gateway to Investing in Poland, 26 April 2019, Singapore

Wardyński & Partners, together with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Singapore Business Federation, is holding a seminar providing practical information on legal aspects of investing in Poland, particularly in the context of the recently ratified Free Trade and Investment Protection agreements between Singapore and the European Union.
Tomasz Wardyński, Krzysztof Wojdyło and Jakub Barański will speak about:
- The Polish market and its prime sectors, Poland’s role within the EU, and the general investment climate
- State aid mechanisms available in Poland to new investors, particularly from creative and innovative sectors, such as IP Box and tax incentives for R&D activity
- The legal framework for protection of intellectual property rights (including trade secrets) in Poland
- Protection of foreign direct investments and dispute-resolution mechanisms, under the current Singapore–Poland bilateral investment treaty and the new investment protection agreement between Singapore and the EU.
Rahul Donde from the Swiss law firm Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler will be a guest speaker during the final part of the presentation.
