Fifth edition of MIT Enterprise Forum Poland launched

MIT Enterprise Forum Poland, one of the country’s largest accelerators for tech startups, has just begun soliciting applications for the 5th edition of the programme, carried out based on the knowhow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The 25 firms qualifying for the programme will have an opportunity to obtain backing from leading Polish and international enterprises, to present their technology to investors from the US, and to win PLN 100,000 in the CVC Young Innovator Awards. Startups have until 10 July 2018 to apply for the programme through the website www.mitefpoland.org.

A new feature of the 5th edition of the programme is the InsurTech track for startups developing technologies with applications in the insurance sector. Acceleration will also be carried out in three other specialised industry tracks and in a general track.

For three months, startups will cooperate with Polish and international experts and mentors to test and perfect their business models. This will help them commercialise their solutions and win funding for further business development.

Moreover, for the second time, MIT Enterprise Forum Poland will also include the CVC Young Innovator Awards. The winner will receive a prize of PLN 100,000. The prize will go to an innovative venture presented by a young entrepreneur (below age 30) which, apart from great technological potential, will also contribute greatly to society.

From the very start, Wardyński & Partners has been a knowledge partner of the programme.
