MIT Enterprise Forum Poland chooses more startups for acceleration programme
The 4th edition of MIT Enterprise Forum Poland, one of the country’s largest accelerators for tech startups, began on 26 April 2018. Our law firm has been a supporter of the venture since its launch.
Out of nearly 250 firms applying for the programme, a team of 60 Polish and international experts selected 21 startups developing unique technologies for finance, energy, healthcare, agriculture and Industry 4.0. The selected teams include creators of a device for monitoring infants’ breathing, a system for analysing anomalies in temperatures at animal raising facilities, and software for automating inspections of commercial real estate.
The aim of the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland programme is to accelerate the growth of innovative young tech firms by matching their potential with the knowledge, experience and resources of leading Polish and international companies. Startups can gain access to resources such as labs and tech support of project partners, an international network of mentors and experts, and backing from the biggest players in banking, energy and pharmaceuticals. In earlier editions of the programme, nearly 70 tech startups underwent acceleration through MIT Enterprise Forum Poland.
