Law students from Argentina at our firm
On 30 July 2019, at our Warsaw office, we will hold a meeting with a group of law students from Argentina devoted to the latest trends in the field of corporate legal responsibility for respecting human rights.
The meeting will include a discussion of the work on a new international convention on this issue and new arbitration rules for disputes regarding human rights violations by businesses.
The increasing emphasis on applying responsible business standards in sport, and the social responsibility of new technologies, in particular online platforms, will also be discussed.
The students are staying in Warsaw as part of an exchange arranged by the Warsaw Latin Convention (WLC), an organisation that aims to strengthen legal and economic cooperation between Poland and Latin America.
