Conference: The Future of Tax. Best practice exchange between Poland and the United Kingdom, 19 February 2019, Warsaw

The event intends to address two areas – the way the tax authorities communicate with corporate tax payers, and the road-map to a digital tax future. Dariusz Wasylkowski will take part in a panel discussion on communication between tax administration and the corporate tax payer.

The event is for CFOs, finance directors, tax specialists and also for representatives of Poland’s tax authorities and finance ministry.

The ease, predictability and transparency of paying taxes is as important to global investors as the actual tax rate. How is Poland doing in terms of making its tax system more user-friendly?

Experts from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs will join BPCC members to look at UK best practice in both areas, and to consider how the Polish system could be improved to increase its cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness. Participants will hear about practical solutions implemented in the UK. While Poland has made advances in the OECD’s Tax Administration rankings (in particular with regards to online tax returns), there are still best practices that can be shared.

Dariusz Wasylkowski will take part in a panel discussion on communication between tax administration and the corporate tax payer.

The conference is organized by the British Polish Chamber of Commerce. Wardyński & Partners is a partner of the event.
