Bergs Timber is a Swedish company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 1984. It manufactures, markets and sells high-quality windows and doors through its subsidiaries Performance Timber Products Group in the UK and Byko-Lat in Latvia. The acquisition of Pinus will enlarge the group’s production capacity and enable planned expansion in the UK and the rest of Europe. After the acquisition of Pinus, Bergs’ annual sales of windows and doors will total some SEK 600 million (c. PLN 270 million).
Pinus, based in Skarbimierz-Osiedle (near Wrocław), founded in 1991, is a recognised manufacturer of premium windows and doors.
