Wardyński & Partners assisted Appfire International Holdings, LLC, a renowned provider of apps used to solve modern challenges with digital solutions, in its acquisition of SoftwarePlant sp. z o.o. and SoftwarePlant sp. z o.o. sp.k.
The SoftwarePlant companies are developers of BigPicture, a project portfolio management tool that integrates with Jira. As part of the acquisition, SoftwarePlant’s founders Tomasz Kucharski and Michał Niwiński, as well as 165 team members, will join Appfire. As a result of the acquisition, Appfire’s global workforce will increase to nearly 400 people. The financial terms of the transaction are confidential.
The transaction team was supervised by Krzysztof Libiszewski and Anna Dąbrowska, and included Bartosz Lewandowski, Piotr Wcisło and several other lawyers. The legal due diligence process conducted by Wardyński & Partners involved Anna Dąbrowska and Aleksandra Drożdż. Monika A. Górska was engaged in IP issues.
