Takata and Key Safety Systems

Wardyński & Partners has advised Takata Group in a transaction involving sale of Takata Group assets to Key Safety Systems (currently Joyson Safety Systems).

Takata Group was created in 1933 and was an automotive parts company based in Japan. It produced among others safety systems, airbags and seatbelts.

It was acquired by Key Safety Systems, so far competitor, who after take over and merger with Takata changed its name to Joyson Safety Systems. Globally, the company has 50,000 employees who work in 32 plants and technical centers worldwide. It is owned by Ningbo Joyson Electronic, a Chinese automotive industry leader.
