Pentaco Partners and IQ Metal

Wardyński & Partners advised Pentaco Partners (a private equity fund) in the acquisition of 100% of the shares in IQ Metal A/S, including indirectly the Polish subsidiary IQ Metal sp. z o.o., from BFL Holding Århus ApS and JZN Holding ApS. The team was led by Izabela Zielińska-Barłożek and Maciej A. Szewczyk. Danish law firm Accura coordinated the project.
IQ Metal supplies components, subassemblies and complete products to a wide range of industries (wind turbines, HVAC equipment, food processing machinery etc). IQ Metal group has about 250 employees. The group HQ is in Hasselager, Denmark, and the company has a branch in Szczecin, Poland.
Founded in 2009, Pentaco Partners is a private equity firm based in Charlottenlund, Denmark. The firm seeks to invest in small and medium-sized enterprises.
The transaction closed on 8 April 2022.
