Journalist reporting on protests in Białowieża Forest acquitted

The court has cleared a news photographer reporting on protests in the Białowieża Forest in eastern Poland in 2017, who was charged with violating the ban on entering the forest and refusing to leave at the request of an authorised person. Wardyński & Partners defended the case pro bono in cooperation with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.
At the request of the foundation, the journalist was represented pro bono by Dr Monika A. Górska, Agnieszka Lisiecka, Janusz Tomczak and Jakub Znamierowski.
