Wardyński & Partners advises on financial restructuring of AccorInvest Group and Orbis

Wardyński & Partners, acting as Polish counsel, together with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (as lead counsel), advised the members of an ad hoc committee of lenders on the financial restructuring of AccorInvest Group, including Orbis S.A., in the total amount of EUR 4.5 billion.

Orbis S.A. is the largest group investing in hotel assets in Poland and Central & Eastern Europe. It is part of AccorInvest Group, which operates 887 hotels worldwide and employs over 26,000 people in 28 countries.

After months of negotiations, the restructuring required due to unprecedented financial pressure experienced as a result of the pandemic was completed on 19 March 2021.
